Giuseppe Calarco holds an Electrical Engineering degree (Honors) from the University of Technology Sydney and an MBA (Merit) from the University of Newcastle Australia.

Giuseppe has over 27 years of working experience in both Australia and abroad for several multinational companies. Giuseppe’s work experience varies from design and manufacturing, regional manager for Australia and New Zealand, director of marketing for South Asia Pacific servicing numerous European, American and Japanese multinational companies, and most recently holding the position of Vice President and General Manager where Giuseppe ran a global business unit.

During this period Giuseppe faced several tough but exciting challenges. He has established new geographical operations, and set up a global business unit with new diversification strategies, all of which required entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership qualities. Furthermore, Giuseppe was directly involved in establishing: new customer bases throughout Europe and Asia, virtual global development teams, and collaborative partnerships. This personal experience together with his background allowed him to gain a real multi-cultural understanding.

During this time Giuseppe wrote numerous articles with leading magazines (eeTimes, Elektroniknet, Acesuppliers, ECnet, Nikkei Electronics, EEPW ...). Giuseppe was also involved with technical forums at a distinguished University in China and with INSEAD MBA classes where he presented on the global semiconductor technology. In 2001, Giuseppe came up with an innovative patent in the field of Micro-Electronic-Mechanical-Systems (MEMS) which has since been filed.

In 2003 Giuseppe became a certified trainer where he provided "Leadership" training to middle and upper management throughout Asia. This wealth of knowledge and experience is what has inspired Giuseppe to step forward and develop such a comprehensive set of training programs. When asked where and when, did the most valuable learning occur? His response was, "the most valuable and profound learning experience for me, came from making mistakes, and learning from those mistakes. Something you can’t learn in lecture theatres or from reading books…"
